Reserve a hire car now with no money down.
By far the majority of our happy customers book their hire cars online. And they do this via our secure online system, knowing that their online transactions are safe.
Payment is taken care of later when they arrive at our conveniently situated car rental centre to take delivery of their hire car. Payment may be made in advance if the customer prefers to do so.

Free shuttle service.
As part of our Brisbane car hire service, a free courtesy shuttle service is available during office hours to transport you from the domestic or international terminals to our Brisbane Car Rental Centre. Should you arrive outside office hours, the shuttle service attracts a nominal fee.
Simply phone us on 3868 1500 (all hours) once you have collected your luggage and are ready to be picked-up.

Weekdays: 07:30 till 17:00
Weekends and public holidays: 07:30 till 14:00 -
Pay in Cash or by Credit Card.
We make it easy for you by accepting payment for your rental car by credit card or even in cash. If paying in cash, a $750 cash or eftpos bond will be required at the time of picking up the car. If the damage liability is higher than $750, an amount equal to the amount of the damage liability level is required.
Very few Brisbane car hire firms will accept payment in cash. -
6 Seater Wagons.
We have a well maintained fleet of 6 seater wagons should you need extra space for your Brisbane holiday.
This is a rarity amongst car rental companies. The front seat sits three people as comfortably as the back seat, which also accommodates three passengers. This leaves the area behind the back seat for luggage. Six big suitcases will easily fit into this luggage area, which is something that cannot be said of ordinary people movers.

Zero Damage Liability Cover.
We believe in making your holiday as pleasant as possible. And we do everything we can to allow you to simply get into your hire car and drive away with the absolute minimum of fuss.
That's why we offer our famous Liability Reduction Waiver to ZERO liability as an option.
In the event that your hire car incurs any damage or loss, the renter is required to pay the liability amount which is shown on the front of the rental agreement. Apart from obvious accidents, this also includes (but is not limited to) items such as missing wheel covers, vandalism, hail damage, and any interior damage including (but not limited to) cigarette burns.
Our cars may only be driven on gazetted sealed and unsealed roads and loss/damage cover is subject to the terms and conditions on the rental agreement being met.

24-Hour Roadside Assistance.
All Roadway Rent-A-Car's economy hire cars are covered by 24-hour roadside assistance. If you experience any issues simply call the Royal Automobile Club of Queensland (RACQ), which is the AA equivalent in New Zealand. We will give you their phone number for when you take delivery of your hire car. An experienced RACQ mechanic will be sent to solve the problem. All mechanical problems will be charged to OUR account. Where else will you find affordable car rental in Brisbane with real customer support service!

Rent or Buy.
All our cars that are available for rent, are also available for purchase.
Once you have rented one of our hire cars for some time, this will give you confidence in perhaps buying the car, as you have driven and experienced the car's performance.
If you're going backpacking or just looking for a reliable, yet affordable, second-hand car you can't go past purchasing one of our hire cars. Many people think that hire cars are treated poorly due to being driven by so many different people, but in reality, our hire cars are far better maintained than most privately owned cars. Private cars are serviced on average once or twice a year, but our hire cars receive a full mechanical check-up after they have been returned from each rental. This makes them mechanically reliable. We are so confident about the mechanical condition of our hire cars that we back-up this claim with a warranty. Warranties up to 36 months are available. Now there's no reason not to buy a reliable second hand car to drive around Australia on the self-drive holiday of your life!
